Date Change Wording Assistance...

Meghan, on June 2, 2011 at 10:25 AM Posted in Planning 0 2

We've had to move our date from 7/16 to 8/20. We've already sent the invitations, so now I have to send change notices... Yippee (can you feel the excitement...)

I'm just going to do Vistaprint Postcards, but need some help with the wording.

Any sugestions- I'm drawing a blank!

I'd send out postcards with alarm clocks on them, and then something like,

"Due to (insert polite way of saying oops), we've had to hit the snooze button on our wedding. All is well and we hope to see you on our new date, 8/20/11. Please visit our website (link) for details."

I sent out postcards from Vistprint with a poem:

(i hadn't yet sent out our invited, but sent the Save the Dates for July- so I just sent out another card with the following:

____ and ____ are getting married in October!

They decided to wait until the hot summer is over.

It would mean the world if you could be there.

Please save the date for this joyous affair!
