Dark colors in the summer?

I’m planning my wedding for August 2020 and I’m so indecisive about my wedding colors. I’ve never been someone who loves bright colors so I’m toying with the idea of navy dresses in the summer with lighter flowers. Anyone do the same? Thoughts? Pics welcomed!

Perfect!!! It's a very rich color, not too dark and not too light. The "belt" on this one in particular is sparkly silver so it looked good with silver shoes.
