So this just occurred to me!!
I’m asking my grandfather to walk me down the aisle as he has always been the main man in my life. Which will in turn lead to a Grandfather/ Daughter dance.
Am I supposed to tell him the song we will be dancing to?Or should this be a surprise for the day of the wedding? What about the song I am walking down the aisle to?Hahaha I am a hard core over thinker so all of these things just started running through my mind!All advice welcome! Thanks ladies!!!

For walking down the isle let him know and you guys practice it so you know what part to come in at etc

Definitely let it be a surprise for the song you’ll be dancing too, for my father and I first dance I’m doing a mixture with like a slow song then it changes to YMCA along with a bunch of other songs

It’s totally your personal preference whether you would like to tell him the song or not!
As the PP mentioned, he may need to know the song you’re walking down the aisle to to practice, but you can totally keep the first dance song a surprise!

I'm walking down the aisle with my grandpa as well! It's actually probably what I'm most excited about, because he means the absolute world to me. However, neither of us are dancers so it's going to be awkward lol! I don't think he cares what song it is, but I didn't think about keeping it a surprise - that's a cute idea! As of now, my mom and I think that My Little Girl by Tim McGraw is a good choice. As for the walking down the aisle song, I'm not keeping that a secret either.
