Dancing into the reception 💃

Me and fh both come from New York our reception entrance song is a hip hop record about where our relationship started.

We are doing the intro but I have no idea what the song is, I took that off my plate and let FH decide. I do not plan to dance my way in though, I plan to walk in as quickly as I can .

We were introduced to Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses. Get the Party Started, Happy, and I Gotta Feeling were never ever even options for our intro.

I have not even thought about a song, but I am for sure dancing into the reception!

We are not for big entrances. We will be introduced, but there will be no dancing and I have no clue what song will be playing. We may just have the DJ pick this one

We are dancing into the reception. We’re learning how to lindy hop bc it fits w/ our theme (I’ll be changing to a 1920s vintage dress) lol ..not sure what we’re going to dance to yet, but I really like the song “reet petit” by Jackie Wilson but we may do “in the mood” by Glenn Miller.

I've always had the thought of using the hooked on a feeling song because of the ooga chaka part. lol. But I don't know how logical it will be since we wouldn't be going straight into dancing just yet instead will go straight to serving food/cake

Yes, I would like to do this! Many months ago, I thought it would be funny to have the groomsmen enter the reception to "Men In Black" but now I'm not sure... probably too corny? I do want to use "24K Magic" by Bruno Mars for our entrance.

My FH and I are coming in to Forever by Chris Brown, and we will be dancing and having fun with it! We're both pretty goofy and the only serious moments will probably be the first look and ceremony!

We are probably not going to do a big announcement.

The wedding we went to this past weekend used "I Feel Good" by James Brown. It was perfect!

We are entering to Bob Marley’s “Is this love” but I don’t know that we will actually “dance” into the room, lol.

FH wants to do "In My Feelings" and I don't care that much so I think that's what we'll end up doing haha.

We walked in down a fancy staircase with a spotlight, everyone was blown away. Much better than a dance!

No big entrance for us. We’ll be enjoying our cocktail hour with our guests, and the ballroom for dinner is connected to the cocktail hour space. I’m planning to just have us go in when everyone else does. Maaaaaaaybe we’ll have the DJ do a quick “announcing for the first time, Mr and Mrs...” but i don’t know. We’ll see.

We'll be getting introduced into the reception to ApeSh*t by Beyoncé and JayZ! We really want to get the party started!
