Dad or son walk down the aisle

Hi Rachel! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! It is perfectly fine to have your son walk you down the aisle! I think that would be adorable. It's up to your comfort though. If you feel like it would be more memorable to have him do it, then certainly go for it! I think it would be awesome to have your son walk you down the aisle! My mom got remarried several years ago and my brother (he's older, 26) walked her down the aisle. Her dad was there, but figured it would be way more special if my brother got that role. If you want both, that would be awesome as well.

We have an 8 year old, and he was our ring bearer for our ceremony. He loved it and was so proud to be in charge of the rings. This is my first marriage though, and so it was important for me that my Dad walked me down the aisle.

I am having my 10 year old son walk me down the aisle ☺️

My 9 year old son from my previous marriage is walking me down the isle and will then stand in as a groomsman. My 16 year old daughter is my maid of honor. No one is giving me away but I wanted my son to walk with me.

I have never known my bio dad and my grandfather passed away many years ago so I am having my future step son walk me down the aisle as of now. He is 9, will be 10 and isn't so sure how he feels yet. He is worried about all of the eyes on him. Other ideas may be to have him be a junior groomsman or ring bearer? Ask him how he feels and that might help.
