Hi all, I'm looking into custom postage stamps for my save the dates as well as my wedding invitations. I'm wondering where you ended up purchasing your stamps and what the overall quality and your satisfaction of the stamps were. Any advice would be appreciated! TIA!

I ordered custom ones to match my invitations on weddingpaperdivas and it was such a mistake. The stamps are so gigantic they look really bad. And they don't even fit on the RSVP envelopes without covering the address! I obviously won't be able to use the 80 stamps I bought for the RSVPs so I guess I'll just have a ton of gigantic stamps hanging around for years.

Ok...this is definitely not a must do--but I ended up getting quite a steal on my invitation suite because minted messed up my order several times and refunded most of the money...so I splurged and got custom stamps that matched out suite. Personally I LOVED the look of them...mostly because I plan to frame our invitation suite and wanted it to be pretty....we also only had to mail about 70 invites--so it wasn't crazy expensive. you can look on USPS site to get a few places that do them, zazzle shutterfly and minted also do them quite often and can discount them,

ETA: definitely order the smaller size stamps for RSVP envelopes if you can--as many people have mentioned, lots of the custom stamps are BIG. they looked great on our invites, but so glad I got the smaller ones for RSVP, otherwise they wouldn't have worked.

OP asked where to get custom stamps, not what everyone thinks about them.

I personally LOVE custom stamps because I'm going all out for my invitations (my wedding splurge). I did weeks of research and found Zazzle is your best bet. Wait for a sitewide sale that includes the stamps. They also had a $5 off per sheet coupon code recently that I regret not pulling the trigger for.

I've been waiting months now for a good sale for them Smiley smile I'll be getting 60 $0.70 stamps for $65-70 when it's all said and done.

Thanks everyone! For me personally, I only have to order 15-20 invitations because my wedding is so small so I don't think it will be too expensive especially if there is a coupon! I will definitely check out zazzle and see what I can find because I definitely want something that goes with our invites and our wedding theme. Even though my family may not notice, I will and that's what counts! Smiley smile and I will be framing the suite so everything will be seen for years to come!
