Curlers or curling iron??

Archer_Bride2be, on August 13, 2014 at 8:16 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

For those of you out there who are married, have had your hair trial, or know how your hair is going to be done I have a question for you, did you have your hair put in curlers, or did your stylist use a curling iron? I think my stylist is going to use curlers, but I'm not sure. Just looking for opinions if one is better than the other Smiley smile Here is the latest pic of what I want it to look like...

I prefer curling irons, but if my stylist said curlers, I'd let her do them!

Hey Archer, did you ever respond on your post about the bra importance what the style number of your Alfred Angelo long line is?! I'd like to get one ordered!

I think I did, but maybe I forgot lol. They don't have a "number" that I know of, if you go in there and say you want the seamless longline bra, that will be the right one. I don't think they have multiple ones, it's the one they originally gave me t try on when I went in there.

We don't have a actual Alfred Angelo anywhere around so I'm stuck to looking online. Thank you!!

I prefer curling iron. I think they hold the curl better - but that's also me doing it and not a stylist. They may have some awesome curlers that are better than a curler...

I used a flat iron for my curls. They held up great through the heat and humidity.

Curlers work better in my hair... but only if they sit for a long time. For me curlers give a softer more natural looking curl. For the hairstyle you have posted above, they most likely used curlers, as a curling iron would either give tighter curls, or wouldn't hold up as well over the course of the day if your hair is fine like mine at least.

How long do you consider "a long time"?

I would leave it up to the stylist, as she/he is the professional. However, I will say that I had my hair done very much like that photo, and my stylist used a curling iron. Personally, I feel a curling iron is quicker and more efficient (I have really thick hair). The attached photo is AFTER a night of partying as a bridesmaid in my MOH's wedding. I know it's not the BEST photo, but you can kinda see how it was curled and lost some of its curl (this is after like 12-13 hours)
