My fiancé and I weren’t going to do favors. But I recently saw a really good deal and customized cups (nice plastic to reuse, not thin). What do you think of cups as a favor? If we do them should we give them to the bartenders to hand out or have a table with them on with a sign that says “Favors - use for the night or keep for life”? Or something like that lol

Unless your vendor/bartender requires you to provide plastic cups, I'd skip these. Ideally, I prefer glassware. However, if the venue uses/includes clear plastic cups, I think those will look "nicer" than plastic cups with a design. I would not take a used plastic cup home (likely sticky...) and I wouldn't take a clean/unused plastic cup home as a favor. I would have found these cool when I was in college, but we wouldn't have any use for them now. If you like them and really want to give them as favors, go for it. You can always use any leftovers at future parties.

Due to space/decor, I wouldn’t take home cups. The only favor I’d look forward to would be something edible, but honestly I wouldn’t miss it.

My fiancé brought a custom cup home from a recent wedding. It was cute but it currently is in a drawer and holds makeup brushes. I really likes consumable type favors. My favorites at recent weddings were macarons and gourmet chocolate. I like the extra treat and will take a few home if there are extras. Yum!

Since a beer tap, maybe a beer-related snack?

I think this is a very good idea. Sure there may be quite a few who do not take their cups but there may also be people who take a few (my mother would be this type of person lol)

Most of them will get left behind. I wouldn't bother, unless you want to be using them for the next couple years.

Like some others have said, I wouldn't mind a cup actually. We like using plastic cups when we have bonfires in the backyard so I would most definitely take one home!

If the bartender is pouring the beer, then I would just give the cups to them and they can pour the beer into the cup instead of making your guests try to remember to grab a plastic cup before they go up for a drink!

I think the table idea with the sign is best! That way people will know it will double as their favor not just a cup to drink out of and throw away.
