Cupcake Contingency Plans?

Here's the deal: We are doing a small gluten-free cake for FH, myself and a few relatives with gluten allergies. Everyone else has the option of two kinds of cupcakes. Here's the deal: We are doing a small gluten-free cake for FH, myself and a few relatives with gluten allergies. Everyone else has the option of two kinds of cupcakes. Well, I'm freaking out now because our cupcake vendor hasn't responded to me in 3 weeks. I've tried calling, texting, and emails. We do have a contract with her, so if she bails I have some teeth, but I was wondering about contingency plans. Should I get in touch with another bakery and just be prepared for this vendor not to follow through?

    I agree with Erin - give her a cutoff date and then find someone else!! And make sure you have it in writing!! A detailed email with all the times you've emailed/called etc so if a refund becomes an issue, you have documentation!

    Costco or Mariano's, but idk how far that chain has reached and where you are. Plus, both are used to big orders with a small turnaround.
