Crying walking down the aisle...

Do you think or know you will cry? Or think you weren't going to cry and did? I know I will cry, but I hope I do not get too emotional. I don't want ugly cry face in my photos lol. I do not want to look like this:

I cried during our first look. I almost cried going down the aisle and I think I was able to hold it together because of the first look. As soon as I saw DH at the end of the aisle my bottom lip and chin started quivering hard-core. I kept a smile on my face, though, so you can't really tell in the pictures. Luckily, my pastor said a prayer as soon as we got to the end of the aisle and I was able to recompose myself.

Now, my dad on the other hand....cried like a baby the entire time he and my mom walked me down the aisle. He made almost my entire wedding party tear up, so I'm glad I didn't look at him. My dad is NOT a sensitive man and I have seen him cry like 2 times in my whole life so I would have lost it if I saw how bad he was crying. So, if you have a dad who's walking you down and is not normally sensitive, maybe don't look at his face if you don't want to cry lol

I totally think I'll cry. Heck, I cry now just listening to our ceremony music. I don't think I'll be bawling though. My poor sister bawled through the entire ceremony so every photo not only showed crying face but it got so bad that it started to look like she was getting married against her will! It was hard to tell they were happy tears. I'll probably leak some tears and try to smile through them so I'm not overcome with too much emotion. If I can track down a photo of my sister I'll post it.

I know we will both be crying tears of happiness. I am having a hankie placed within my bouquet for easy access and my FH's BM will have a hankie ready for him.

It's all on FH and Dad... if they're crying, I'm going to be a wreck! I'm hoping my other reaction (giddy excitement) will take over for the walk down the aisle (it's a looooong walk!)

Once we get to the vows, I'll be done! Kim Kardashian has nothing on my ugly cry

My plan is not to look at him as I walk down the aisle. Seeing him will make me cry! LOL

I will not cry. I'm not a crier. But I know what you mean. My friend is great, but she was crying harder than the picture you posted and I'm like "think about your pictures!"

I thought I would but I didn't. I actually barely cried at all the entire day so it was a huge surprise to me b/c I cry over everything lol. I cried right before walking down the aisle when I saw my grandma. Poor DH cried a bunch of times and it was adorable Smiley smile

I am a crier. I cry over everything. We are doing a first look, so I know I will do some crying then. I am thinking that might hold some of my tears at bay when I walk down the aisle, but I know for sure I will cry when reciting my vows!

Everyone's response is soo funny. I know I will cry like a baby, I cried like a baby when he proposed. I also get teary eyed when I listen to the song i will be walking down the aisle to. I just hope he doesn't run when he sees my ugly crying face!

I am totally worried about this. We are not doing a first look but will get to talk to each other right before. Either way I don't think it will stop the flood gates from opening. ugh... I am worried about eye make up!!
