Crepe Dress Shapewear

Mariah, on March 17, 2019 at 9:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
Here is my dress. It shows everything and is not forgiving. My stylist had it super tightly clipped and I’m thinking it can be a little looser. Can I see some of your looser crepe fitting dresses or any shapewear suggestions that would work for crepe + low back?!

Stunning. is the crepe double layered? Could there be cups sewn in? If so I'd suggest that, or an adhesive bra or tape (though never works well for me since any perspiration loosens the adhesive). Seamless nude thong probably works. Try a bunch of things and definitely try em out when you can!

Wow, Mariah! You look absolutely beautiful in your dress! Smiley love

Have you asked the salon stylist what previous brides have worn under this dress or similar dresses? They may have some insight as to what has worked before for other women.

Also, if you have to get your dress altered you may be able to ask your seamstress has she got any suggestions.

As Jeanelle mentioned, it may be a case of trying some different options to see what looks and feels best for you.

I found a great article in the ideas section on How to Shop for Wedding Undergarments that might be of some help to you also!

I also bought a crepe wedding dress! I purchased a strapless plunge sitck on bra from amazon. If you are wanting to wear shapewear you will need to make sure that it is completly seemless. I bought a pair to try on with my dress and you can see the seams on my thighs. At this point I am debating not wearing anything at all lol.

I have a crepe dress too - looking at the Spanx catsuit and having that altered as well, so it fits the dress better. Your seamstress and trim that back lower for your dress.

I had cups sewn in and wore seamless shapewear that went from my natural waist (there was a seam there in the dress) down to my knee.Crepe Dress Shapewear 3
