Creative ‘day Of’ Bridesmaids Gifts

Colleen, on June 9, 2020 at 11:36 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 13
What are you getting your girls for their gifts for being in the wedding? Getting creative? An acquaintance of mine is getting married before me, and she has a great idea but I can’t use it because I feel like that’s stealing now. 😆 I love the traditional robes, or PJs or all the other cute ideas. Looking for something different. Any thoughts?

    What’s her idea?
I gave my bridesmaids stuff like compact mirror, some beauty products, etc. I gave them kind of typical gifts aha but they loved the compact mirror!

So, I should also add that I have 11 girls and one guy. Sooooo buying a bunch of stuff is not an option. My friend bought each girl a necklace with coordinates of a special place they have shared together on it for each girl. So creative!!

I like that. I already got them each a tumbler and something small and personal in their proposal boxes but I want to get something else. I could still do something more personal for each.

Aw that does sound sweet actually. Another idea I have could be buying something with a word on it like “strong” “intelligent” etc that you think best describes each person

I just need to get creative like I did for their proposal boxes. This is helpful. Thank you.

I got my girls a gift card to a place they like. I’m a fan of practical gifts!

I'm having a really small bridal party (3 or 4 BMs), so I'm doing kinda elaborate gifts, but right now I'm looking at monogrammed weekender bags, matching toiletry bags, a jewelry binder with a necklace in it, a minimergency kit, a gift individual to them/their style, a photo album from the bach party, and a handwritten thank you note for all their help. And then they'd also get the PJ set for the pictures on the wedding day, but that isn't really a gift since it's something I'm asking them to wear so I can have cute pics.

These are all cute ideas. If I didn’t have 11 girls and a guy I’d consider getting them lots of stuff. Just trying to stay within some sort of a budget.

Yeah that's totally understandable! These things get out of hand really quickly!
