Cream Cheese Mints - KANSAS CITY, MO

Candice, on June 21, 2012 at 4:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 13

All,

I need assistance in finding someone who will make cream cheese mints. I have a vendor for my wedding cake, but she does not do CREAM CHEESE mints.

I need a minimum of 300 cream cheese mints for my wedding at the end of July 2012.

If you make them or know someone who does, please let me know ASAP.

Thank you.

Hi Candace. If I were you, I would just make them yourself. They are super easy, and you could make them now and freeze them and no one would know the difference. If you make them yourself, they cost almost nothing. If you are interested, pm me, and I would be happy to give you the steps. I've made them a bunch of times for graduation parties.

Candice --I got a pm about the mints from another bride this morning, so I will just post a how to later today or this weekend, so watch for it if you're interested. I swear, they couldn't be eaisier--or cheaper--to make yourself. ;-)

What's the difference between butter mints and cream cheese mints? Does one taste better than the other? What are the usual ones you receive after dinner.. they are like pillow shaped and melt in your mouth?

Yum,Yum,Yum!!! I was told by my 2 SIL's that I needed to have these and that they would help make them some Saturday. But I would need a miniumum of 900 of them and that is just figuring 3 per person. I know them 2 SIL's would eat a whole plate themselves Smiley smile

Julie, you and a friend could make 900 in the time it takes to watch a movie--seriously. 1 recipe probably makes at least 150 or 200. Roll into a ball, roll in sugar, put in the mold, pop it out, let it dry. I kid you not. It's that easy.

No Problemo!-- I made enough for a grad party with over 200 people invited in the time it took to watch Tropic Thunder. Of all the DIY's a bride can do, this would have to be one of the most affordable and easy yet impressive. Have no fear, it's not like you're making baklava or anything--LOL. Get your wedding party to help. You'll have them finished in no time! Good luck! :-)

Pam of Confection Connection makes custom cream cheese mints. The mints I ordered have all been highly customized, and she has been so great to work with! I highly recommend her prices and sheer talent: www.confectionkc.com She made my friends wedding mints, and I'm happy to say she is making mine because as crafty as I am, I don't think I could make seamless Sporting KC symbols, delicate roses and much more without much error and much practice.
