I have almost everything booked, but I'm having a difficult time finding a florist. I know we're getting married in peak season, but several florists have said their minimum is $5000. I fell in love with this florist and their minimum is $3500 which I thought was expensive, but not as bad as the others. I just received this quote. I need suggestions as to what to cut back. I didn't want a floral head piece or aisle petals, so I want those cut out already. Also, are the prices reasonable or kind of outrageous?

I got lucky... my mom is my florist! From what she has told me that it all depends what flowers you want and what is in season that time of the year. She said watch for people to nickel and dime you just because they can. Always get multiple quotes because you would be surprised what a small florist can do compared to a large well marketed florist. Also my mother always allows her brides to view the flowers the night before to make sure they are exactly what she is looking for. For that price you should be able to view them before your wedding!

I'm no help because I went discount for flowers. I'm repurposing a lot of stuff too, as someone above me mentioned!

Thanks for the ideas ladies! I will definitely be reviewing with her and cut some of those items out.
@Amanda yes, you are so lucky. I'm guessing calla lilies are out of season which is sad, but after seeing the pictures she sent everything looks so pretty. I'll probably get one more quote and forward this to my planner to make sure everything looks right.

Of course @Jen! I'm going to have a WW table, so save the date. I want as many people to come as possible. It's just hard because it's in the mountains and an hour and a half from each airport. Definitely worth it though.
