I’m getting married in WA and with Covid I may have a littler over 50+, but I invited 100+. I am hoping that my pastor will let me getting married in our church with over 50, otherwise we are getting married outside on the extra property our church has. We are currently in a modified phase 1 for king county. I knew most wouldn’t come because of Covid but I’m actually surprised now on how many have said yes, lol.

Yes, if you go into the "Married Life" forum, you will find a lot of couples have had a socially distanced wedding the past few months.

People have been getting very creative and still finding ways to celebrate.

Lots of people have gotten married during this! Some even think the smaller, more intimate ceremonies were more what they wanted after doing it. It's been really positive for a lot of people!

How have the policies been in WA? Have places been requiring masks? Are they requiring masks for your wedding?

Hi Liliana! Lots of couples have still been getting married and sharing their stories and pictures with us. ❤️ You can check out some of the recent celebrations in these posts:

The size of your celebration and what social distancing guidelines must be in place are entirely dependent on your local government mandates and any new policies your venue will be enforcing. With that in mind, you can connect with more August brides about their plans in these discussions:

Is anyone else rescheduling their August wedding due to the pandemic?

I haven’t read anything where there’s a policy for masks at a wedding but it’s okay if guests where them. Most people are wearing masks and others aren’t, WA has been pretty good. I think some cases are going up around here because of the protests that have been going on.
