Covid wedding post wedding Reception.

I got married with only a few and not a the guests were able to zoom into our wedding.

How do I go about inviting them to the reception that will happen months after? Due to corona obviously.

Also we couldn't have the bridal party then,( they were understanding) but want to be part of the reception for sure.
Also thinking of wearing my dress again as not many people saw it
Any thoughts? Really appreciate it

Doing the same exact thing! I think people will understand due to the restrictions not everyone could attend this year so you want to still be able to celebrate with everyone next year.

I don't think it's bad if you wore your dress again - the more chances to wear it, the better!
i think people will understand that you had to change your wedding plans up and would be happy to know you're doing another celebration so just invite them the way you would normally

I'm wearing my dress twice!
I think you invite them the same way you would've invited them to the wedding. On the invitation, instead of saying, "we invite you to the wedding of Jaelle and [Spouse]," say, "we invite you to a reception celebrating the marriage of Jaelle and [Spouse]," or something like that.

Thank you all so much Lindsay. Though not sure if they will be willing to travel for this reason, hopefully they do.
Also we are doing our first dance and cake cutting then. What your thoughts on that?

Yes I say do it!!! We’re def doing the cake cutting and we’ll probably do the first dance also if my fiancé wants to. Nothing wrong with doing things twice!

Hi Jaelle! I think you should go for it and do all of those traditions you'd like to! And definitely wear your dress again!
You can still send invitations, just call it a "celebration of marriage"! That will acknowledge that you're recently married but want to celebrate with everyone. Like you said, everyone will understand that the delay is because of covid-19!
