Covid wedding invitations

Bee, on May 8, 2020 at 8:41 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
Is anyone adding anything to their wedding invitations, asking people if they have been sick or traveled to hot spots not to come to their wedding?? I wouldn’t put this on the actual invitations but maybe at the bottom of the detail card.

I realize this may come off rude and maybe it should be common sense but I sometimes feel like people need this reminder. We live in Kansas, we obviously have cases, we aren’t out of control in our area but do have raising cases in certain counties. We have family traveling etc. by our wedding everything should be lifted since we are slowly opening the state but obviously covid will be still be an issue.

Personally i wouldnt id think its just common sense. id be more worried about people not wanting to come and adding a clause explaining the precautions you will take to keep people safe

If you’re having a wedding website, I’d maybe include something on there rather than on any of the invitation inserts

I agree with this. I think a lot of people will be understandably nervous in gatherings, so putting a section in your wedding website (if you have one) may be helpful. But, I don't think it's necessary to tell people that if they're potentially infected not to attend.
