Our wedding was on Saturday and while it was certainly not what we had originally planned, it ended up being perfect! I just wanted to share a few pictures to hopefully offer a bit of inspiration/assurance to anyone who is freaking out about having to require masks (or cut their guest list or have a wedding that's separate from their big reception...) and is worrying about it being really depressing, because it doesn't have to be. You can have a wedding in 2020 that (almost) makes it possible to forget about everything else that's going on.
I don't know if thanking specific vendors qualifies as commercial content, so I won't list them here, but I would be happy to recommend any of mine if someone is looking for: photography, hair & makeup, flowers, catering (I may add more photos when I have some of the food and flowers because they were both so pretty!), or anything else I missed in Greater Boston/Southern New England. I am so thankful to all of them for making this possible, as well as to my parents for their support (and their home, which became our venue) and for the weather, which was much better than we expected.
P.S. One thing I would seriously recommend, probably even if COVID wasn't a factor, is to not let people use their phones/devices. We don't have any unfortunate pictures (taken from weird angles or interrupted by other people taking pictures) because our photographer was the only one taking them, and everyone was really present and more able to enjoy the day because they were forced to interact with only the people who were actually there and experience things as they happened, and not through a smartphone lens.
