Covid-19 Dilemma

With COVID-19 going on I am unsure about when to book our honeymoon. We're getting married in early February. We live in the northeast and we are thinking about honeymooning in the Florida Keys. With so much uncertainty surrounding the pandemic should we book the honeymoon now or wait?

We're getting married in March 2021 and plan to book our honeymoon after we see what's going to happen with COVID-19 and the restrictions. We wanted to go overseas for ours, but now we're planning to go away for a few days Stateside and take a real honeymoon elsewhere when things are better.

That's exactly what my FH and I were talking about today. We're most likely going to spend a few days in Virginia right after the wedding and plan an official honeymoon once things improve as far as COVID-19 goes.

My wedding isn't until March of next year and I am definitely waiting to book a honeymoon. COVID has gotten so many trips cancelled and now they are talking about a possible swine flu. I would wait to see what happens with the virus

Oh wow! All of this really seems never-ending. We are most likely going to do a local getaway and do a full honeymoon later on.

Thats not a bad idea, thats our plan if things don't get better by our wedding date. It sucks, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Very true considering the fact that I'm labeled high risk. To me the point of a honeymoon is to enjoy being together. It's a celebration of the start of forever together and honestly we can do that anywhere. It'd be great to get away, but staying locally isn't going to kill the vibe either.

I agree, marrying your significant other is the most important thing. There will always be time for vacations

Honestly, I would wait to book. It’s pretty bad in Florida and the Keys have mandated masks until June 2021. That’s where I wanted to do my bachelorette party Smiley sad
