Covid-19 Brides

Hi fellow brides!

So my fiancé and I just had to postpone our May wedding, our bachelor and bachelorette. Smiley sad We just sent out postponement cards and we were supposed to get married in 55 days. It's been a pretty emotional rollercoaster setting everything back, but in the end things will be more beautiful and more valued than we can even imagine.

I wanted to reach out to other brides that are going through the same thing in postponing wedding events and weddings and let you know you're not alone. It's okay to be sad and disappointed, but know that in the end it'll feel that much more beautiful and appreciated. LOVE YOU ALL!

    Hey Mallory!!!

We haven’t decided if we’re going to legally marry on our original date or not! Fiancé wants to, but I feel like it’ll be special if we wait. Although, it could be great having two anniversaries Smiley winking
We’re hoping to push the wedding to the end of August at the very latest. We’re just waiting to hear more news on how long this will go on for and until it’s safe enough to get everyone together.
How about you? New date yet or still figuring it out?

Hello!!! I was originally a May bride but we decided to reschedule to mid August.
Like many brides, I'm blessed and most grateful to have a loving and supportive FH.
Keep faith and hope!!! We will all get thru this and have our special day 💕🤗

    Hi Jazmin,

What a kind message for other brides in the same challenging, emotionally draining situation! Here are three other discussions with May brides who have decided to postpone:

    - May Wedding Postponed.

    - Postponed our May wedding - the original post is about having a small ceremony in May and rescheduling for August

    - Officially Postponed My May 30, 2020 Wedding Day - the bride is asking about rescheduling for August vs. May 2021

Plus, here's a good perspective: “My Wedding Was Postponed Due to Covid-19, but Now I Get a ‘Do-Over’”. I hope you can keep spreading the positivity and love as we all try to get through quarantine together! Smiley heart
