Covid-19 All Courthouses Closed

I would look online where you plan on getting married. I know some places have switched to online marriage licenses, but it all depends on where you live if they have. Otherwise, you will unfortunately not be able to get legally married until the courthouses open again to the general public.

I just saw my county is going to start issuing marriage licenses online. We had to postpone our wedding as well but would like to still get married on April 25th, our original date. We missed out on getting our license before everything shut down so I was super bummed. But last night I checked our county clerk's website and it said they were launching a process to issue online marriage licenses and to check back this week. So I'm really hoping we'll be able to get one and we'll be one of those couple who get married in a Zoom conference.

I agree with the responses above. If your local courthouse is closed and your county is not offering an online option for marriage licenses, you may have to wait it out.
