has anyone gotten married at a courthouse, thinking about it, or have been to someone elses? If so please share your thoughts and ideas! Thank you so much! We may end up doing this and just using the "wedding" $ for a cruise vacation!

I did a courthouse wedding for my first marriage with dinner afterwards, everyone paid for themselves. I felt we really missed out on the personal aspects of a wedding so my one requirement the 2nd time around was to have a nice ceremony at a local garden. Our budget is only $3000 so we are not havinginything fancy just a nice time with close family and friends, very few of which are from OOT, we actually weren't going to invite any OOT guests but FH's aunt and uncle are letting us rent their beach house for way cheap so we figured it was only polite to invite them.

I've seen some on youtube and they are really nice the one closest to me has a very pretty chapel in it

Okay were talking bout court house wedding. I'm all for it now at first I wasn't but were not religious at all. Um I only really want is to wear a nice wedding dress I just don't no will I look funny wearing one to a court house? Plus do I still get my 3 bridesmaids dresses? And afterwards we want to do a reception but unsure how to look because places do both ceremony and reception now. Any advice?? Thx guys!<3
