Okay so my fiance and I decided to say the hell with my sister and just go to the court house and have a small ceremony...no party after, that way my sister cant complain but my fiance and I are still getting what we want. So my question is... has anyone ever had a court house wedding? especially in...

has anyone ever had a court house wedding? especially in PA?

I just want to know how to go about it and how many people we are allowed to witness?? I know we need two, but what is the maximum amount?

It's up to you what you would like to do for your wedding. Don't worry about other people, it's your day. Just make sure you get someone to do your wedding photography! You won't want to forget your wedding day!

Hi Madison - taking a long shot here that you'll still get this - but my fiance and I are looking into a courthouse ceremony next year... in doylestown! Just wonder what the process/experience was like! Thanks!

Me and my fiancé is deciding to have a court house wedding now then a big one later when we have the money we are getting married in Maryland but not sure if there is a dress code! Can u wear what you want?

I have done both, the very big wedding and the courthouse. I prefer the courthouse which had a small outside venue, It was more meaningful than all the hoopla with a big wedding. Have a party afterward if you like. I still got dressed up and it was still very special. The big wedding (which didn't last cost $14,000) The love of my life and I got married for a total of $94 and we saved all that money for our future in investments. The same end result of being married, be smart about it it is just 1 day out of the rest of your lives together don't spend a mortgage on it. Planning on renewing our vowels on a beach somewhere in a few years on vacation.
