Couples Shower Thank You Notes

My MOH recently hosted a couples shower for my FH and I. I’ve been working on thank you notes and have about half done, but I keep getting stuck on wording for the rest. I know I’m supposed to thank someone if they gave a gift and if they came to the shower. For those where all of the family/couple that was invited and attended, I have had no issue thanking them all for attending and for their gift. For those where none of the members of a family/couple attended the shower, but they gave a gift, I thanked them for the gift and let them know we missed them at the shower. I do not know how I am supposed to word a thank you if part of the family/couple attended, but the gift was from all. For example, if we invited A & B to the shower, but B could not attend and the gift is from A & B. Would I thank them both for the gift, thank A for attending, and let B know we missed seeing them? Or is there a better way to word this? I am pretty sure I am probably overthinking this, but I want to make sure I follow the correct etiquette. This is the first shower for both my family and my FH’s family that has been a couples shower and no one really has any advice on how to address the thank you notes for this situation.
