Couples Resorts in Jamaica - Any opinions?

Try a Sandals resort.

Couples Swept Away is phenomenal!! If you are looking for great beach and seclusion....good food too

Is Tower Isle the one in Runaway Bay? We've stayed in that part of the island before and loved it.

We're going to Jamaica for our honeymoon and we just booked it. My grandma has a timeshare and we got a week from her as a present. We're going to Secrets of St James Montego Bay. I know its an adult only resort. It looks amazing.

We stayed at Couples Tower Isle (CTI) in October of 2010 and it was amazing - I highly recommend it. However, I think the others (Swept Away and Negril) are more romantic and more of a splurge for your honeymoon. We were not there for our honeymoon, but most of the other couples there were. The grounds are beautiful, food was great and plentiful, and the best part was the staff. SO friendly and helpful, I've never met friendlier people anywhere. You will not be disappointed with any of the Couples resorts! If you do Couples Rendezvous, you pay a lower price and then find out 2 weeks before your honeymoon which resort you are staying at - surprise!

I stayed at Couples San Souci and LOVED IT!!! The people there are amazing and the food is great!! It is by far my favorite vacation destination! I've been there three times and each time has been over the top and special. You will love it!!! Couples itself is all about pampering their guest!

We went to Couples Sans Souci in May 2010 and LOVED IT! Staff was amazing, diving, water skiing, sailing were included. It's a small resort and pretty quiet at night so if you want to party probably not the best place.

We are booked for couples san souci- our best man and his wife went there and loved it another of our friends are gong to be at tower isle so i can tell you when we get back how both went but that's in 3 weeks if you can wait that long

DH and I went to Secrets St James in Montego Bay. We LOVED it! We can't wait to go back. Each day they had a new surprise of the "newly weds" be it fruit and champagne delivered to the room or a hot jacuzzi bath with rose petals.

I'm getting married at Secret St James and I cannot wait!!!! I hear it is amazing!

Thanks for all the input ladies. We kept going back and forth and we finally chose Couples Swept Away in Negril. We felt it was the perfect combo between CTI and CSS. No nude sunbathing, but that's alright! We are so excited!

Kristen D, I saw 3 weddings while I was there and they were all beautiful! The entire resort was calling out "Congrats" and clapping for them as they walked by.

I've been to all of them. My favorite is Swept Away. By far the best beach and really gives you a true Jamaica/Caribbean feel. Tower Isle beach is not so great. San Souci is gorgous, nice beach. Couples Negril is just down the road from Swept Away and is also a great location. Negril area offers the best beaches. Hope this helps. Jack

I cannot recommend Couples Tower Isle enough. I did volunteer work for Couples/Issa Trust earlier this year and stayed at the resort. The workers there are amazing and I had the best time.

We went to Couples Swept Away! It is the best! The scenery is gorgeous- if you can, spring for the beachfront verandah suite, the view is totally worth it, and you're literally 9 steps from the ocean. You will have a great time- find the guy on the beach named Elvis- he will take care of you

I was looking at San Souci for awhile and after researching more, we are now leaning towards Couples Swept Away in Negril. Their rooms alone look like a more luxurious feel than their other resorts, at least from what I've been able to tell online
