Tell me all about your wedding planning! Have you booked your venue yet?

Hello, fellow wedding date sisters. Do any of you feel like our dates are so far away but at the same time so close lol. How far are you both with your wedding planning? I booked my venue last week. I'm so excited! I'm working on the colors for the wedding now and I just started to order the things I need to start making the centerpieces and etc..I'm doing everything myself for the wedding. It's so much fun and it saves so much money! I've already booked the bakery to make the cake, the DJ and I'm currently looking for a photographer. I know it's early and everyone keeps telling me I have time but I keep thinking to myself all the other brides that have had to cancel and reschedule their weddings are snatching up venues and dates like crazy! i just want to make sure I have everything locked in place. How are you guys wedding planning going?

So many date twins! How's everyone's planning coming along? My Fiance and I are so excited to be having a Thursday wedding - especially before a big holiday weekend next year. We wanted to do something over the weekend with some friends but not sure because I feel like people are already taking time off for our big day. Thoughts?
