Engaged as of last Monday and I completely forgot its hurricane season. Seriously reconsidering changing the date (since its arbitrary and I'm the only one who knows it)

Congrats. You don't have to change the date just because its hurricane season. That will limit you to Dec-May even though those are good months as well. I chose this date because they only have Alaskan cruises through til the end of September and I made my venue decision on the fact that it might just rain and I didn't want to worry about that. . Good Luck even if you change the date
