Couples getting married on October 9, 2021

I was wondering how many of you ladies have started planning already? My fiance thinks I'm nuts for stressing over things already lol.

I am not getting married until November 2020, and I am already planning. I think the earlier the better! I feel like if I plan things early then it will be less stress closer to the date Smiley smile

Jessica, that's how I think too. I think he mainly thinks I'm nuts because I'm stressing over things so soon. He doesn't understand how quickly venues and things fill up. Typical guy response, I guess lol

It’s never too early and you will be extremely happy that you have so much figured out so early, we got engaged September of 2018 and I started planning immediately, our wedding is November 2020 and I have almost everything planned and booked already. Which will make it easier for us next year so our main focus will be making payments on vendors and squaring away smaller details.

I think the earlier the better. We are getting married October 2020 and I started planning 2018. I just didn't want to feel stressed by waiting last minute. You can also do more research and meet with more vendors to make sure you are happy with the one you choose. Congratulations and good luck!

    Hi Tammy!

We just got engaged this weekend and I haven't dont much yet, but we're hoping to get a lot of the big things knocked out as soon as we can! We're thinking October 9th as well 😊

Tentatively this is my wedding date as well - at the very least if it’s not on 10/9/21, it will be somewhere around there. It’s a ways off, but I’m looking at it as an opportunity to really have the shindig we want. We will be able to save a bit more, get the venue that we want (well, I want, he just wants me to be happy) and also have lots of time to source and make the DIY things that I am planning to do myself. I don’t really have any help besides my FH to plan and prepare so the more time allotted, the better.

I’m most definitely planning! We got engaged on October 4th and I was like full blown planning the next day 😂 calling venues, looking at prices and picking out colors. I don’t think it’s too soon because your going to need all that stuff to do to keep you busy for 2 years. Spread it out and enjoy the ride! It’s gonna be fun 😉

Same date! Already planning and booked the venue, dj, photographer, caterer and florist! Less things i'll have to stress about later! Plus your argument is: EVERY BRIDE WANTS A FALL WEDDING, so you're kind of fighting for the vendor for that date (well almost everyone!)

This is my wedding date too! We've just booked our venue after a 2 month search. We originally wanted a 2020 wedding, but like its been stated fall wedding dates go FAST and we've been particular! Even though it wasn't our intention to wait, I'm really happy we are. There are so many events that happen leading up to the wedding and I want to be able to thoroughly enjoy everything so this way I can take the time to plan out upcoming events without the stress. It also gives us time to save up for the wedding we want, not the wedding we can afford. Finally and I think most importantly, it gives me plenty of time to explore options and feel confident in my choices without feeling pressured to pick something because a decision HAS to be made. You aren't nuts! You're just a planner! Smiley smile

Oh we are getting married on October 9th 2021 and we have booked our DJ, photographer and venue. We already started putting together our guest list, we know who we are using for cake and possibly catering too. It’s never to early to start planning. Gives you more time to plan and pay plus get those rates before they go up. 👍🏻 Oh and we got engaged October of 2019 so we started planning right away 🥰

I am already planning- Ive actually been planning since I got back from my engagement which was in september of last year. I would book sooner rather than later from all the vendors I have been in contact with due to the COVID-19 and brides pushing out their weddings to next year.

I have my venue, the church, DJ, just booked the photobooth, and now looking at photographers and videographers Smiley smile

Our wedding date is also 10-9-2021. I have started booking vendors already because I learned quickly that October is very popular and some of the vendors I loved were already booked for NEXT YEAR Smiley sad

Our wedding is 10/9/21 as well. I've had my venue locked in since February along with me photographer and dj. My party favors are already being made. i've already ordered a lot of things for the wedding. I preferred to start planning and getting everything done now so when time gets closer ill be able to sit back and relax more because a lot of things are done . Its never to early to start planning!!!

I know I'm late to the party but the early with planning the better. You can take your time to research and find the pricing for everything. Plus you won't run into the problem of no one or a venue being available due to the date being taken already.

    Congratulations!!! Smiley heart

I am having an intimate ceremony on October 10th,2020. That was our originally planned date. We had to postpone so now we have picked October 9th, 2021. So I have pretty much everything already planned.
