Couples getting married on October 7, 2019

How is everyone handling the stress of getting married in less than a month?? Do you still have a lot to do or are you completely done?

    Hey Lindsay!

Can you believe your wedding is 28 days away? How long have you been planning for?

What’s left on your to-do list?

I will be 30 days out on the 12th! I am not too stressed I've just been buying a lot of items like gifts and decor, have to crack down on DIY decor. Finalizing DJ questionnaire/music. Need to get rings and tuxes fitted. My mom is doing my dress alterations. I need a veil (she was gonna make one but honestly said I should just buy one to match on amazon already beaded)! Definitely not completely done that's for sure! But I don't want to leave stuff til the last week.

It's crazy that it is coming up sooo fast!! We are getting a lot of things off the to-do list. Now that we have paid for flowers and picked up my dress and the marriage license, it is just the last minute details that are left!

Looking back, what's been your favorite part of the planning?

I think my favorite part about planning is that my FH has been so involved with everything! My mom is surprised that he's been wanting to help plan so much Smiley smile

It's so nice to hear your FH had such a huge interest in the planning! It will make the wedding day feel like both of yours, if that makes sense?!

Definitely! I was in a wedding where the groom hardly wanted to talk about their plans let alone be involved so it's been really nice and slightly challenging to have the FH be so involved since we have really had to discuss our wants and expectations for the day if that makes sense? Lol

Yes I get you! As opposed to saying 'whatever you want' to decisions, he is communicating his wants and you have yours, so everything has to be taken into consideration when making decisions!

Did you both have the same vision for your wedidng theme/style?

That's incredibly true! It helped that we had 9 months to plan the big day. We did actually! We both wanted something fairly casual with close family and friends!
