I started sending out text yesterday to people asking if they planned to not come and reminding them about the rsvp date... we were able to get more rsvp's yesterday and the FH is responsible for messaging his people. It amazes me that family think they don't need to rsvp. My dad asked me why he needed to rsvp and I'm like well what if you can make it but your wife can't I need to know that!

I didn't wanna wait until after the date to start sending messages. I really want to pick a date in September and be completely done with wedding planning. The last thing I want to do is work on my vows and then just smile everyday knowing that we are getting closer to our wedding date!

I met with our decor lady yesterday and we completely changed the look, feel, and colors for the day since I decided that our bridal party was going to be in all black!

I don't even have an idea about the rehearsal dinner let alone an outfit, lol. Yes, I decided to go with a nude pair of Jimmy Choo's so that way I can wear the shoes again.

Now, I'm just trying to figure out all the small details like card boxes, table numbers, guest book...etc.,

Oh... and trying to figure out the hotel situation for my FH is stressing me because I want them to have a large enough space to get ready but I don't want to pay for a room for 2 nights just for him to need it for an hour or two to get ready.

My bridal party will be in black too! I think it's classic and I let my bridesmaids pick out their own dresses(with my approval) I just wanted each of them to have a different cut at the top, it's been hell! OMG, they all except one has changed it like 5 times! I almost freaked out on my sister and had to wait a week to respond to her text, I don't know how many times I told her to send me pics before she ordered a dress, then she ordered like 4 dresses, I told her to send me pics and she said she would when they got in. *end rant* lol...

I'm trying to figure out card box (where do you even look for one, etsy?) but table numbers my venue will provide and guest book is with my photobooth (they print pics and stick them to the book and sign) no point in them signing something twice, right? or is that dumb, do I need another book?

I'm kinda trying to work on the room thing too for him! He keeps saying he'll just get ready in one of his groomsmen's rooms & Ive been concerned about it not being big enough he's convinced they'll be fine... I'm debating giving up on this and saying fine you guys can all be stuffed in a little room, I won't be dealing with it....

Trying to figure out bridesmaids robes and finishing up their gifts. My jewelry( do we invest in this or is costume tacky)? Also, MARRIAGE LICENSE, that might be important, I have to figure out how to get that, totally forgot about it and i'm out of state just thought about it now...OMG

My bridal party dresses just came in and I'm so happy with them. I gave them 4 different options and they all ended up picking the same dress. I love that they can potentially wear the dress to holiday parties or for NYE because it doesn't scream bridesmaid dress.

When I say I do not want to pay for a card box I'm never going to use again ...but I've been looking on etsy, amazon, hobby lobby and they are so expensive. Nope, they don't need to sign a book twice and that's exactly what I'm doing. I love the idea of making that a wedding favor and also being able to keep photos from that day as well. I'm currently waiting to find out if our photo booth vendor prints two copies b/c I really want the additional pic. We also decided to do krispy kreme donuts as a wedding favor because the FH is a cop and he wouldn't let me do a donut wall, lol

I just booked another suite for him to get ready in but I could only do it for the actual wedding day and I have to now pray that he and his groomsmen can check in early or it will literally be a waste of money.

I'm wearing jewelry I already own (mom bought me diamond earrings and necklace as a teen) and borrowing a bracelet from my mother. I will splurge and buy my headband but that's it. I am really at a loss on what to do for my bridesmaids and what to get them to wear.

Marriage license info ...Any Georgia resident may apply for a license in any county in Georgia. However, if neither applicant is a resident of Georgia, you may only obtain your license in the county where the ceremony is performed. The license does not have an expiration date.

I'm really ready for the day to come and go as I'm ready to get off of this emotional roller coaster ...

We are are working on our signs now. Making a welcome sign, menu sign and we have to work on seating chart. The guest book is on its way to us. We had our final walk through with our venue yesterday.
Oh the marriage license, ugh, we were suppose to get that this coming Friday. But we realized last week that FH doesn’t have his, it was lost in the damage done from Hurricane Michael last October. So now he has ordered one and I’m praying it gets here so we can go on the 4th when he’s back in town.

I woke up calm this morning! I was freaking out about that fact that I'm still not packed for my honeymoon and that I need to continue working on my vows, but I worked on them some at work yesterday and I went home and started folding clothes and laying them in piles to be packed and tried on swimsuits... so I'm a little calmer today.

How are you with 8 days to go? When do you get to the city?

The terrarium is pretty, but if your venue has one for free, that’s awesome!
Seating chart is the death of me, hope it’s going better than it’s going for me lol....I feel like I need an extra table, but it’s not an option but the grouping is going to be so weird.

However, the one I really wanted was this $70 acrylic card box from etsy but my fabulous co workers told me to stop spending money as they both owned cricuts and would make it for me. I used the money saved to buy my girls pajamas for the day of.

I did the acrylic one from etsy lol... my mother in law bought it for us. I'm going to keep it in my house filled with fake rose petals or something.

I feel like I'm forgetting to do a bunch of things, is that weird am I the only one? lol...I'm super calm, the only thing I'm anxious about is that I don't have enough to do. I'm flying up tomorrow! So excited!
