Yes! We have been planning since our engagement. (August 14th 2017)

Sadly we had to black list some family members due to them hating our date and giving us grief.
More and more people are complaining on the date.
    "It's satanic"
"Oh people won't come, they will think it's a joke and won't show up"

Wedding is supposed to be fun, not negative.

    Anyway.
The flowers are orderd. The colors decided on. The food menu set up.
The kid's table decided on. The venue. The hair style. February 2020 I go looking at dresses!!!!

SO and The Internet might have convinced me pushing it back a year to Sunday 2021 instead of Saturday 2020.

SO is worried that 2020 is too short planning time and I was worried Sunday might suck coz people will leave early and stuff.

But SO makes a point of it gives our many pregnant friends time to not have a newborn and The Internet says that in addition to being cheaper Sundays would be better because people who care about us will show and stay the entire time and it gives time to hang with out of towners as they'd likely fly in Friday

đź’Ż doing Halloween for religious/cultural reasons so year doesn't matter

Getting married 10/31/2021!!!! We have decided on an Edgar Allan Poe quote theme for the ceremony "We loved with a love more than love" that will spill over to a family friendly(lots of 8 and under kids) "Monster Mash" reception wanting to have lots of game things to do so no one feels like they missed out trick or treating.

Black listing is such a great idea. I had family complain that we were unoriginal because it was already a "special day". Have you had any problems about people threatening to show up in costumes even if it's not going to be a costume party? We had some guests inform us that they will bring their kids in costume if we don't change our date.

Are you guys letting people dress up for your reception? I want everyone to have fun, but want to keep it within reason to! How can we make fun for the kids?!
