The date has no significance to us.. I have always dreamed of having a fall wedding and he wanted it to where he wouldn't be hot on our wedding day so I pretty much got to pick the date that I wanted. Even the day we started dating which was December 27th had no significance and same with our proposal date which was August 18th had no significance.

Hi everybody!! I'm anxious to get things started but don't know if its too early. Any advice would be very helpful!

I have been planning since Fall of last year and the prices for venues are nerve-racking. I am trying to keep calm. These big-ticket must haves such as photographer, venue, food etc.) are really taking the majority of our budget. With big families a small intimate wedding wouldn't be small even if we invite the immediate.

How's your planning coming along? I just need a dress and small details. I almost feel like I have too much time now.

Hey everyone! My boyfriend of ELEVEN years FINALLY just proposed a few weeks ago! I've been married before (for 16 years... 3 children) and divorced for 11. He has NEVER been married... no children. (We went to school together and he was like my big brother way back then!). We are planning a small beach wedding with a bonfire reception in Panama City Oct 14, 2023... and I am so stressed already! I am not wanting to overdo it since it is my second... but want it to be special since it's his first (and only!!!). Trying to decide if I should just do a casual dress, or go ahead and have a "wedding" dress. Any suggestions?

CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm also getting married 10/14/23! Do what really feels right for you. We're getting married in Mexico (on the beach) and I chose to do a slim fitting but "real" wedding dress, even though the scenery may not be "formal" I wanted to feel a certain way about my look! Maybe go try on some dresses within your budget and see if any of them spark you? Just because it's your second doesn't mean you should lose out on anything that you want

We just got engaged almost 2 weeks ago and haven't landed solid on anything other than we want it to be cheap, intimate, & special to us. Focusing on us.

Picked the date to line up with my kids fall break.
Also picked the colors scheme. Turned out it's patriotic colors.
Picked out the caterer dress suit for him the planner the dj the florist and baker.
We were going to g t married last year then this month but things happen and we broke up for a bit and now trying to get it back on track.
