Couples getting married on October 10, 2019

Hey Sara

How are you feeling 61 days out? What are you working on at the moment?

I’m super excited!! I pretty much have just been relaxing. I just have to find transportation and that’s it. What I have been doing is making an excel sheet to make sure I pack everything we need for the wedding. And also making our wedding book that has all of our contracts and stuff like that.

I’m October 12, so just 2 days after you. My first bridal shower is tomorrow and I’m dropping invitations in the mail on Monday. Everything is starting to happen so fast!

Sara, what are you most looking forward to during these next 2 months?...other than the actual wedding day itself!

Being able to be around everyone that I care about. Plus we have been planning this wedding for 2 years. The first year I was in school and this past year I graduated and also planning the wedding which was super stressful. As weird as it sounds I’m ready to be married and not engaged anymore.

What are you most most excited for? Is there something you haven’t done yet? Or is everything pretty much ready to go?

I’m October 12 too, so super close to your date! I’ve finally started stressing because all that’s left to plan is all the little details (decorations, food choices, song choices, etc.), and little details are not really my strong suit. Thankfully my sister-in-law/officiant (brother’s wife/JP) just offered to take me on a Michael’s/Hobby Lobby shopping trip to help me out. At least somebody has ideas for decorations! LOL

I’m super excited to finally be married too, planning sucks! Also looking forward to our honeymoon!

View Quoted Comment We’re also about a 4 hour drive from our venue. It makes it a bit more stressful. I’ve had to book long weekends in that area to meet with vendors and whatnot, so those are always busy weekends driving around everywhere. Hopefully the one in early Sept will be the last before the big day!

View Quoted Comment Yea we tried to book long weekends earlier in the year so that way we don’t have to keep going down closer to the wedding. Luckily I’m meeting my event planner halfway in September so that way we don’t have to make another trip down. I’m trying to think on the bright side about having it 4 hours away and not stress.

We are having our small elopement ceremony on the 10th and it's the one thing I feel super comfortable and confident about. I can't wait till we can go get the license next month! As long as we can make it to our location, we're set. The big celebration a couple of days later has me freaked. But in the end, I get to marry the most amazing person in the world for me so it's all good! Good luck in all your planning.

Im two days after you and I am soooooooo nervous and excited for the day to get here!!!

10/10/2019 here. Everything is set, all I have to do is board a plane and get there. I have one more meeting in person with the planner for day of stuff. 60 days out, I just want to marry my bestfriend...

I am October 12th as well. It is definitely a little overwhelmed trying to get the last minute things done. I'm ready for the day! The only thing I'm stressing about is the wedding rehearsal dinner. I sent out my invitations the week of 4th of July and I have gotten a ton of RSVP's so that has been exciting. Just planning the last little bit and meeting with my vendors to finalize everything.
