What have you checked off the to-do list so far?

I'm getting married the week after, November 9th! I can't believe how time is flying by. Right now, I'm working on getting my invitations ready to mail in the next week or so. Trying to narrow down centerpieces and decorations for the reception.

Waiting to receive invites hoping to get them out September 1. I have my dress, shoes, and hair and make up appointments. Ordering bridal party gifts and church decor tonight I still need my veil, headband, and jewelry. I am still shopping around since it’s all so expensive I think I’m picking from amazon at this point lol. We are still deciding if we are doing a rehearsal I’m on the fence since we are on such a tight budget. Our party is large so it’s hard to find something reasonable. How is your planning??

Amazon has some great options for veils, jewelry, and headbands. I've seen tons of members in the community who've gotten their veils from Amazon and they look so good!

I'm not currently planning my wedding. I work with WeddingWire on this forum answering members questions and offering advice where I can. I love weddings, and chatting about all things wedding so it's a perfect fit for me! I will certainly be prepared whenever my own engagement comes around

Super late....but hey date twin!! Hope the planning is going well! All the minor details are driving me crazy now, but we're almost there!

The minor details are killing me too lol!! The RSVPs are mind boggling! I had one come in that said 3-5 adults when only 2 were invited 🤷🏼‍♀️ Lol

Lol we have 3 outstanding we are waiting on now. My bridesmaids also have been lol. I also am in the not caring situation, I dont care how the hair and make up and jewelry looks lol. they are all confused to the just show up at my house with hair and make up done ( if they care to wear it) and we take the photos have a few mimosas and head to church lol. I feel like attempting to be easy breezy is harder for people to understand lol... Easy breezy didn't work at the church rehearsal today either.. I didn't plan on a church rehearsal but our pastor wanted one. Only 2 out of my 6 bridesmaids could make it ( i understood of course work kids it's hard especially not originally planned). I kinda figured that we walk stand in place do the things and that's it lol. My mistake....

I know they can each do their own hair and makeup since I’ve seen each of them in it without a hair and MUA. So I’m like, just do that. Or not. Whatever 🤷🏾‍♀️

We’re not doing a rehearsal since most of my people are coming from out of town the night before. I really feel like we should be able to walk in order. I’m hoping in not wrong 😂
