Couples getting married on March 25, 2022

Welcome to wedding wire! That isn't my date for my big wedding (ours is March 27, 2021) we just picked that as a random date

My co worker is getting married on that date because it's her birthday

My fiance and I decided we wanted to do spring 2022 to get away from Covid as much as possible. Since it lined up, we thought it would be special to get married on our 5th dating anniversary, March 25th.

My date was March 24th, 2019! Our dating anniversary is September 24th, and when we went to see the venue it was February, 2018. We knew it was the venue for us that day and decided to go for it, we wanted at least 1 year to plan it all out so we looked for Spring 2019, after considering Saturday vs Sunday prices (easily close to 10k of a price increase if we had it on Saturday than Sunday). The 24th of March, 2019 was on a Sunday and we said Yes to the venue and Yes to the date that very day. The very next day we attended a family birthday for my side of the family and told those there since they were 100% going to be invited and had kids and we had decided on an adult only wedding. Everyone was thrilled, noted the dates to make sure they would make arrangements for the kids and that was it. My venue was a huge restaurant sitting on the edge of a mountain, we were married at the highest terrace over looking everything, our reception ballroom was just feet away from the ceremony area and transitioning was a breeze! We invited 103 people and 4 did not show but let us know ahead of time, also my wedding ended at midnight and many people stayed close to the end.

We chose this date because it is very close to the date we started dating (3/23) 15 years ago. I also googled and found out since this isn't considered "wedding season" it would be cheaper and the trifecta is that it is a Friday which is even cheaper. So even though 3.25 did not really start out as a day with lots of sentimental meaning it will be once we get married!
