    I am really down for anything that isn't a standard, boring ballroom. I love nature, and I also love old historic buildings. Inside or outside does not matter much to me. I have found a few places that I will be visiting in the coming weeks: Tarrywile Mansion, Murray's Tivoli, and Birch Hill Catering. I have already visited Clermont State Historic Site as well. I have a super tight budget ($20,000 for this area does not seem to go very far), so I have been searching for the past 5 months for something that fits this and is also beautiful!

    I think its gorgeous! I love it. The only issue is all the DIY-ing and rentals involved. I thought I would love a DIY wedding when I first started wedding planning. But once I realized exactly how much work that actually entails, I do not really want to anymore. I would rather book a venue that includes a coordinator so I do not have to worry about any of it.

    I don't think you're the only one who goes through that experience, Nicole. And it's completely understandable. Do you still want to do a little bit of DIY or just hand it all over to someone else?

    I still want to do a little DIY. I am pretty creative, but I don't want to be spending the weeks before my wedding frantically trying to put all the pieces together.
