I have the venue (includes all food and alcohol), photographer, DJ, dress, and flowers. I’m a teacher so I really wanted to get as much done as possible before I turn my complete attention to the kiddos!

Yay for 6/19/20! We have our venue and photographer locked down. Will most likely finalize videographer this weekend. Hearing back from caterers is my big headache right now!

Congrats on 6/19/20!! Can’t wait! We have all of our main vendors booked...venue, caterer, florist, lighting, dj/band, photographer, videographer, hair/makeup, baker, live artist, photo booth. Just have the little things to worry about now! Invites, room blocks, etc. Happy planning! 😊

Where are you ladies on the keeping versus canceling the date considering the pandemic? Looking for honest feedback as invites are supposed to go out in the next 2 weeks.

I am wondering the same thing! I was calm up to now thinking the summer heat should help get rid of COVID-19 just as when flu season ends but i’m getting responses from people telling me they think Coronavirus might still be an issue by June so i’m panicking now. I don’t know this uncertainty is freaking me out.

I am also panicking. I postponed our 4/24 wedding to June 19th hoping that would be plenty of time but now Im losing faith. I cried in front of my fiancé today because it’s so hard for us. We have had a tough engagement season as it is dealing with family and now this. We have been long distance for 2 years and all I want to do is be married so we can see each other everyday. We have never got to have a normal relationship because we’ve been long distance. I am praying and hoping for the best. It seems like marriage is so close yet so far away

My Infectious Disease doc ( I am a nurse on a Covid unit) stated that the virus is destroyed at 134 degrees F, summer will not kill it. On the bright side, there will hopefully be enough people with antibodies to the virus to start slowing it down. *0% of the population will need to have it in order to provide herd immunity. The ID doc does feel that things will be reopened by June but people may be hesitant to expose themselves to large groups, and in truth, if they are not healthy...they shouldn't. So hopeful that we can celebrate with the healthy and strong and the others can be present on FB live.

He did feel we will have another outbreak in fall, flu season, so consider that if you choose to reschedule.
