Adam and I are getting married at an old silk mill in a historic neighborhood with a courtyard ceremony and indoor reception. Our colors are dusty blue (bridesmaids), navy (groomsmen) and gold (accent) with bright pops of color for the flowers! We're contemplating the theme of "Let Love Grow" since there will be lots of greenery and blooms. We will also be serving pie instead of cake for our dessert!

Excited to hear what everyone else is planning for their June weddings (:

Hi Ashley! We'll have been engaged for year on December 8! I feel the same way, in some ways I can't wait for it to be over so I don't have to stress all the time, but in others way I'll be sad when it's over because it has been fun!

I’m also a 6/13/2020 bride! Our colors are navy, light grey, and light pink! We’re doing touches of both rose gold and silver. I am originally from a bigger city but my fiancé is from a small town. We decided to have a small town wedding in Nebraska!

    Hi Ashton!

Our wedding is in a small historic town as well! Our colors are similar (: Navy & dusty blue, with pops of blush, pink and other colors for flowers and lots of touches of gold!

I'm a June 13th bride too! I just got engaged on 12/21/19! I have so much planning to do! I did nail down my venue this past week. It will be at a vineyard/winery in Illinois. I think I am going with the color purple....and idk what else. Since the venue has a lot of purple decor, I decided to just make it one of the colors.

I'm a June 13th bride who got engaged on Dec. 9, 2018! We're not only wedding twins, we're engagement sisters! My colors are living sea coral (I picked it out before Pantone declared it the color of 2019) and cornflower blue. The theme is garden party, and will be in a park in New Orleans.

Omg! That's so crazy! Our colors and theme seem to be similar as well. We're going with dusty blue, but I like bright colors so our florals will have pinks and corals and such (: I also want it to feel like a garden party!

    Less than 100 days!

Engaged 7/6/19, initially planned on a 6/12/21 wedding, then my dad got sick and we moved it to 6/13/20!

We're going for a turquoise/grey theme, it's at the church where my parents got married, but with all the turmoil since we got engaged idk if that's necessarily a good thing or not, lol

I feel like I'm not doing enough, and that it's still so far away.

I’m going through a mini freak out too! As a teacher, I’m on spring break and so much needs to be done this week.

I still have to:Address and send the invitations
Finalize the wording for/order programsFind a cake bakerDecide on a wedding musicianStart dress fittingsFH need to buy the rings and get fitted for his tux
What’s gone wrong this week:Maid of honor’s dress too smallVeil’s color doesn’t match my dressCan’t find ribbon to match my colorMy mom, aunt and grandmother lovingly went antiquing for a cake plate for me as a surprise and the one they found is too small. 😔 Still gonna figure out a way to use it.
Anybody else feeling behind the eight ball?

Well at least you have this week to really focus on everything! You got this!

I'm awaiting the arrival of our invitations in the mail, also waiting on some ribbon I ordered to tie them with. Hoping to get those out at the end of the month at the latest. Our RSVP deadline is May 1st.

We are also trying to finalize our dessert plan - we're doing pie so it's a little easier to find a baker but still stressful! I go for my second fitting in a few weeks and also need to decide on a veil and make sure it matches! We're having our rings custom made by a friend and we're anxiously awaiting quotes from her as well.

On edge about my bridesmaids dresses coming in the first week of April and praying they fit well - they're also being made in China and with this Coronavirus outbreak I'm getting increasingly nervous!!

I feel like every time I cross something off the list - I add like 5 more things!!

We're meeting with the photographer tonight, so we'll see how that goes. I look at the various checklists here and on the knot and even though in some areas I'm ahead of the game, in others I feel so far behind, I worry about catching up and pulling this wedding off

We picked a location that is reminiscent of Little House on the Prairie. It's an historical venue in our county, and the church is a replica of the church from the 1800s. They will close the entire museum down to the public and allow the guest to walk around and tour the houses, shops, blacksmith shed, etc. The reception is in a double covered, screened patio-double door entry to either side and we will have one side for dinner and the other side for bar and dj/dancing. Our colors are Navy Blue (Marine blue) and Silver. Our theme is more vintage and our getaway car is the Excalibur Godfather. AMAZING car. We have it being done buffet style and with him being Puerto Rican and I being African-American, the food is a mixture of both. The cake will also have cupcakes along side it. I can NOT wait until June 13, 2020!!

Got engaged on 12/24/19 and I am STRESSING out because that is not much time to plan BUT- I have paid deposits to all vendors but the photographer and limo-that'll be tomorrow. I have sent out invitations as of last week, and now the waiting game for replies to arrive. I gave them until May 15th.

Now I have to search and find tid bits like guest book, and favors...jeez...so much money to make and spend and so little time LOL.
