Couples getting married on July 4, 2021

Rebekah, on December 29, 2019 at 12:52 PM Posted in Planning 1 14

Hi ladies (and gents if you're here!)

Nice to find some other July 4th brides!

How far has everyone got in their planning? Our planning so far is going okay, we're from the UK and are having an engagement party over here with all our family, then when we go to Vegas it's going to be just the two of us, I'm really looking forward to it being just us Smiley laugh

Congratulations!! The planning is coming a long. Trying not to rush anything, but eventually we will need to send out our save the dates. We have not decided if we want an engagement party or not. It’s not really a necessity, but it would be a nice reason to have everyone come together. Have fun in Vegas!

Oh how wonderful! Have you chosen a venue in Vegas yet? We are in the same boat with a slower engagement and just finally chose our date to be the 4th
(2021). Such a great perk that we will all get free fireworks on our Anniversaries forever in the US! Has anyone else decided on venue location yet? We are definitely doing a destination wedding and looking at venues in the Outer Banks, North Carolina right now. We will be having engagement parties in Seattle, Montana, and Connecticut, our families are spread out all around the US so we have to make it to all of them! It's quite the process planning so many destination events but so much fun at the same time!

Thats sounds amazing! I wanted 4th of july but we went with July 10th, 2021. So far we have booked venue, Dj, planner, decorator, and photobooth. I am currently working on photographer and cater. I really wanted to go to vegas but my groom wanted a big wedding at home. Congrats!

I started with logistics a few months ago. But I finally got my planning binder and started writting everything down this week. I will technically only have two weeks to get everything done due to the fact I am still in college and I graduate in May then I have to pack and move outta my parents on the 20th of June. So kinda freaked out a bit 😅

I am getting married in his parents back yard where we met 11 years ago! And our honeymoon will actually be in the Outer Banks!

Congrats!! We don’t have a whole lot planned for 2021. We were just starting the planning process when the world flipped upside down. We are having a smallish wedding on amy parents private beach, so we don’t have to reserve a venue. I have a million red/white/blue things pinned for diy ideas! I’m going to start making things over the next couple weeks to practice. I’m not a very crafty person. Haha

My family has very mixed emotions on a July 4th 2021 wedding!🤯 Anyone else getting this response? We have paid an initial deposit but haven’t confirmed officially with the venue yet. It’s the only date they have that’s not a weekday or Sunday during the rest of the year. So many places are totally booked due to weddings rescheduled from this yr. One of my family’s worries is that guests won’t be off work on 7/5 (Monday) and would have to take the day off. Others think most jobs would have the day off so idk! What are y’all thinking about this?

I'm having anxiety thinking people will make a huge deal about it but so far everyone seems to be on board!!! It's hard planning a wedding on a holiday when family isn't very flexible. I feel MOST people on your guest list will get the Monday off! And keep in mind this is YOUR big day! And it'll all work out Smiley smile

Do you girls know when you will be sending save the dates and invitations? I guess it’ll depend on covid

Hi ladies!! 7/4/21 Bride here as well! I have only gotten the venue and catering locked down so far, but been lagging on everything else due to COVID. I want to send Save the Dates soon, but worried we won't be able to have as many people as we wanted, so kind of stuck. Are any of you considered postponing your date? I'm in Southern California and things are not getting any better and we're all stuck in the dark about everything.
