Glad to get in touch with the other 7/4/20 couples! When are folks sending out invites? We are sitting on them longer given the current uncertainty, but I know at some point soon we need to send them out or decide for sure to reschedule.

Has any one rescheduled there wedding? I sent my invites at the end of Feb and have only got 8 rsvps. I’m not getting married locally (still in the UK) so people need to book hotels etc. My partners is self employed so was income has been cut and I’m starting to wonder if I want to postpone it as feeling anxious and stressed about the wedding. Wonder what people thoughts are.

For a destination wedding in July I would 100% postpone. We postponed till May 2021 because 100% of our guests will be traveling for our wedding

I forgot to say my venue is saying July wedding still going ahead so far and won’t let me postpone even though they know we don’t live locally and live 3 hours away. I think this is adding to my stress.

We had our venue and key vendors like photographer, band and videographer hold a tentative plan B date for about 2 weeks until we made the final call.

Just cancelled my July 4th wedding due to COVID-19. I’m sad, but it’s for the best. We really don’t want to take a chance with this virus situation. Also, not to forget lots of folks have been laid off from work. So we pushed our wedding to May 15, 2021

Do what’s best for you and your partner. Just look at the Picture from a different perspective. I just postponed my July 4th wedding, pushing it to May 15, 2021. Good Luck to you! :-)
