Couples getting married on July 4, 2019 in Nevada

Lisa, on March 18, 2019 at 11:10 AM Posted in Nevada Planning 0 5

Where are all the 4th of July brides? We are getting married at the Paris wedding chapel (very small...only 10 people) and then doing a dinner at Maggiano’s. We are going to be spending he week there and I’ve never been to Vegas as I’m not big on gambling, but I am pretty excited about it. I am worried about the heat though. That is all anybody says when I talk about our plans. “Have you been to Vegas in the summer? It’s miserable!” Over and over.

So, what are your plans? How long do you plan to spend in Vegas? And what things (besides the wedding) are you excited to do there?

    Hi Lisa!

I'm sure all your 4th of July brides will be by shortly!

Sounds like it will be a lovely intimate wedding Smiley heart

It will be hot at that time of year but as long as you're prepared it will be good! Make sure you take the heat into consideration when looking for your wedding outfit!

I've never been to Vegas myself but I'm hoping to next year! I will 100% be fitting in a show during my visit!

What made you and your FS choose Vegas for the wedding? Any particular reason?

I REALLY wanted July 4, 2020. But since we decided on a destination wedding in Vegas, I had to scrap the Fourth of July idea because summer is a beast out there. If everything is indoors, it should be fine. But I want the majority of the evening spent outside with views of the strip and lights. Even starting the ceremony at 6 PM, it’s too hot outside.

The 4th of July wedding wasn’t optional for us. We knew that was THE day. It’s our favorite holiday, there are always fireworks and we will never have to work, so we can spend the day together, LOL. But everything is inside, so I hope it works out okay.
