Ours is currently booked for July 31, 2020 as well! Planned to be in Michigan. We're trying to decide whether to postpone. Did anyone else with this date decide to postpone? Or waiting it out?

Lisa-I’m also getting married July 31, 2020 in Michigan! We are still waiting it out for now. Our venue doesn’t have many options to postpone for this year so we are hoping it still works out.

Alyssa - Congratulations to you!! Good wedding date choice 😀

Sorry that there aren't many available options through your venue! Hopefully it won't be necessary for either of us to reschedule, fingers crossed that everything works out! There's still hope, especially with number of cases steadily decreasing!

Also in MI. We postponed from May to this date - 7/31/20. I am feeling pretty confidant (or er - hopeful) that our date wont have to be postponed again

Sorry that you had to postpone from your original date!! Hoping that none of us will have to reschedule from July. A lot has changed in the past two months, we're hopeful that things will drastically change for the better in the next two months. I can't believe July 31 is only two months away from yesterday! Congratulations to you!

COVID is awful! But we had a lot of guests coming in from states that are spiking pretty badly, so we felt it was the right decision for us to postpone. It will still be a great weekend for sure! Are you still planning for July 31, 2020?

Yes still planning on 7/31 in MI. changed to outdoor ceremony at the chapel and reserved room for the reception that holds 3x our guest list. did trim our list down some (at least we'll save a few dollars). praying numbers start trending down again and we are able to move forward.

Also, all of our guests are local with the exception of my mom and sis coming from a non-spiking state

I'm also in Michigan, the numbers at least seem to be somewhat stable and not a massive spike. Hoping they go back down again though. Glad that everything is working out well for you, and that you're still able to have your wedding! Congratulations!!

Hello, former date twins! Just wanted to send a message to everyone who had/has July 31, 2020 as their wedding date.

To those who were able to keep the date and are celebrating their wedding today, CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope your day is beautiful and fantastic! Happy Wedding Day!
To those who postponed, Happy Original Wedding Date! I hope you all were able to find something fun to do today, and that your day is beautiful and fantastic!

My fiance and I were supposed to get married today, but we were forced to postpone due to COVID. We are celebrating today with a mini cake from our cake baker, COVID-wedding-themed coffee mugs, wine glasses, and fun weekend adventures with a couple friends.
