Yes! Got engaged June 8, 2019 and enjoyed the engagement till fall time. Booked my venue in fall and now that its 2020 I have a lot planned. Things were also booked when we started looking so the sooner the better. Gather quotes work on things in two and everything will be fine!

I know it's crazy how fast things book up! I started looking at DJs and some said they were almost booked for 2021 summer time!

Probably looking at hair/makeup and maybe transportation for wedding day. We'd love to provide shuttle for the guests but have to see if we can make it work in the budget.

View Quoted Comment I pushed my date back from this year to next year. We are going to the courthouse so we’re just having a reception. I felt like it was short notice and I didn’t want to rush. I haven’t started anything just looking at things. I contacted the venue. Just have to sign the contract and pay. This can be overwhelming. I am excited. Congratulations to everyone

Yes , we have started planning but with everything going on we haven’t had our engagement party or anything because places are closed. Hopefully this all will past. I am so excited 😆 #Congratulations to you as well 🥰

HI ! We just started planning since we had some time on our hands here, lol! We picked our hosting hotel and 90% on the venue. Working on a band now.

Anyone planning a second wedding? Anyone doing a wedding with a blended family? We are 50 years old, planning a second wedding with four teenagers (two in high school and two in college). Congratulations everyone!

We started planning, but of course can only do so much with everything closed now. Have to wait to see a venue, I'm uncomfortable with booking a place without seeing it.

Yes! We didn't want to put any deposits down without seeing the places. We had our top two places agree to give us give us right of first refusal if anyone else is interested in our date. We live in NJ but our wedding will be in Update NY so we really cant even just drive by until everything opens up. I have also been quotes from florists. we are having a small wedding, less than 60 people, so things are a bit simpler for us.

Luckily for us, our top venues are where I live (we live in CA, a little over an hour away from each other) so I've driven by each place to see the outside at least. I've been in contact with the venues we're looking at & one should be opening soon, so as soon as they get a date then we can go by the look. Both FH & I agreed that if we like a venue enough then we'll book it right away.

Once everything is sorted out, we should be about 75 people so it's not too bad for us.

Yes , I have but it’s kinda been on a hold due to everything going on with the Covid. So, I think I’m going to wait a couple more weeks before we start actually going shopping.

As of Christmas will be two years engaged. I changed my wedding date due to Covid. I signed the contract this morning for a new wedding venue and have changed dates with my DJ. I have been working very closely with my wedding planner and for the most part she has my vision and knows exactly what I want. I spoke with a videographer & photographer yesterday and will be making an appointment to choose my packages very soon. Planning for a wedding is both exciting and exhausting I wish you ladies the best!

Yes! We have booked our venue and DJ! The MOH and I have looked into ideas for bridesmaid dresses too. Next thing we really need to tackle is choosing a photographer/videographer for the wedding. Also sending out the save the dates ! I have a few appointments booked one day next week to try on a few wedding dresses ! (I’m so nervous and excited at the same time!)
