I'm planning from Boston so I'm getting everything done WAY early. I've booked everything except the DJ and hair/makeup, and save the dates are ready to go lol

I was born and raised in LA and all my family is there. FH's family is smaller and doesn't mind the flight. Most of our friends on the east coast can make it too which such a pleasant surprise.

Is it helpful with the wedding planning having friends and family in the area? Have any helped with venue/vendor visits or with local reccomendations?

My bridesmaids (all in LA) toured the venue that I ultimately chose first and told me I'd love it. Its definitely helpful having them there but I also feel bad asking so much of them.
