I feel like I'm way behind, but I stopped planning for about a month to take a rest during the COVID shutdown.

View Quoted Comment I definitely took a break too when the lockdowns started. I just recently sent out save the dates though! With all the bad news going on, a lot of my family and friends were really excited to receive a happy piece of mail 😊
I put COVID-19 messages and updates on both our STD and wedding website, so that I can let guests know we're prepping to keep them safe. We're planning on live streaming the ceremony so that all guests have the option to celebrate from home. We have a 250+ guest list (both have big families) but I already know I'll have to cut it and tell some people that it's for their safety to watch from home. It's not the wedding we initially envisioned, but if we can still get married on our date that's all that matters! ❤

Then on the wedding website, I added an entire COVID-19 Update tab so that any changes/restrictions/guidelines can be put there. If you use Weddingwire, I used the "Blog" format tab and put a more personalized post about the status of our wedding as of July. For example, how our state is doing (TX is a hotspot) and so far that our venue has not postponed/canceled our date.

I was optimistic but also realistic. Kinda what you would say to friends and family if they asked you about how your wedding planning is going during a pandemic lol.

It's starting to get real! Time is going by so fast now!!!

What are y'all doing for showers? My family wants me to have something. Louisiana is so up and down that it is hard to plan anything.

Finally found my group! Proposed August 15th and getting married January 23, 2021. 7 days after his birthday and a month before mine. Plus 123 is an easy way for him to remember our anniversary.

I am curious how many people are you planning or expecting to be there. We originally were looking at 85 but now might have to cut it down because of COVID stuff.
