Hello,

It is pretty exciting to think about how close our date is coming. A lot of vendors tell me your date is so far, you are planning everything so early, but we literally only have 15 months left! I know this holiday season is going to fly by super fast, and we will be at the year mark before we know it. What are you all focused on/doing right now in regards to wedding planning? Right now, we are looking for a photographer and videographer!

I know isn’t it so exciting?! Our date is early 2021 as well and I’ve been super proactive about planning and booking! We booked our venue, caterer, photographer, and officiant so far (: I’m in my last year of nursing school so I planned it all before this semester so it would be stress free!

Daughter's wedding was your same weekend, but this past January. She booked her venue and DJ in around this time of year, 15-16 months before the wedding. However, some photographers, bakeries, and HMUAs told her it was too early and suggested they contact them after 1/1. I believe she booked her photographer around the 1-yr mark, and the cake, HMUA & officiant in the 8-10 month window. We're in So Cal, so a pretty busy wedding market, but January is definitely an off-time/slow season so she didn't have any trouble getting her preferred vendors by waiting till the 1-year mark. I’m starting to get excited !!! And nervous .... I’m very big on planning ahead and I’m praying that everything goes smoothly. My venue, photographer, Mua, videographer, STD, Florist, Invitations, Favors, Dresses are all already taken care of. I just need more candle holders, deposit for my DJ, put some $ aside for the tips, have my bridesmaids order their dresses+shoes and pay for our honeymoon.

It seems like the time is flying by and dragging at the same time.

This is our wedding date as well! I feel like I’m so behind on all the stuff that need to get done! I’m so excited though!
