I think I lucked out I only have a FMIL to worry about and she has been very laid back on everything.

No, my problem is with my own family. Everyone is divorced and hates their exes but I still love them all. We even debated going only with a head table seating chart and let everyone else sit wherever they wanted so we didn't have to stress about it.

My current problem is that my FH and FMIL don't have anyone's addresses. Hard to invite people to your wedding if you can't mail them anything. Since we are getting close to the date I had to start a Facebook group with the link so people could send us their addresses.

Mine wanted to keep adding people but that was back when I didn't realize we were over the count and didn't want to say no because they were so nice. Such a struggle

My FMIL has a rather large family, literally 1 of 10 children so I gave a certain # of guests for her to invite because of that. Well...she forgot some family members but invited her friends, pickleball team, etc. My FH didn’t check the save the date list because he trusted his Mom wouldn’t forget people. We had to add more people after Save the Dates were sent out/caused some hurt feelings so I’m actually hoping on declines for the wedding, especially people we don’t know. 🤞My FH is still mad at himself for not double checking! Oh, did I also mention we are paying for own wedding as well?!

My in-laws were generous enough to pay for our wedding. They have given me a "list" of people whom they would want invited to the wedding and I tried to work my way with the list. Our venue charges per guest after 100, so were trying to keep an eye out for that.

No thank God in not having those issues my in law are deceased. I'm under my head count for the wedding but trying to stay in budget don't have any one to help with paying but a couple of sisters but with the grace of God it will be beautiful in the end. I pray everyone special day be so beautiful as you planned and the in laws let you plan your wedding your way.
