Have you started any planning yet? Do you have a venue?

We are looking browsing venues but we just recently moved and our actual wedding is going to be in Houston so we cant tour venues right now which is kinda making me nervous because I'm having to do it all via phone and internet... we have a date. And I have ana idea of where I want to have it though lol.

I booked venue already so now working on photography and dj.

Yea all my fiance's family is in Houston and mine in Ohio so we decided to come home. I found a beautiful barn venue for a rustic chic type wedding. I dont know if I'm gona have a DJ lol we have set a limited budget so we can enjoy our honeymoon to the fullest

We are getting married April 4, 2020 and I just booked my last vendor yesterday. I know I am probably way ahead of the curve but I am a planner and don't like to wait until the last minute for anything. I am hoping that by planning ahead I won't be as stressed as the day approaches. Good Luck.

I'm also a 2020 bride located in Houston. I don't think it's crazy to start planning now. I think if you have a busy life, the earlier and (hopefully) less stressful it will be to take your time and plan early.

Yessss I love it! Two weeks is plenty of time to fly somewhere a little further away and not feel rushed!

I am getting married on 02•22•2020 and have begun planning! I already chose the venue and reserved it with a deposit, created my save the dates, chosen the dj and live performer, and picked my daughter’s flower girl dress. We are traveling to McAllen on 3/2 to dress shop for myself and bridesmaids so no it is not too soon! Get as much done as soon as you can so you are not stressing last minute!

I was beginning to think I didn't have any date siblings; it took me forever to find this discussion! We must just be early planners. I started fairly early as well (picked venue and booked most of my vendors in March/April as soon as we got engaged). I'm now in that crazy waiting stage where i'm starting to obsess over smaller decoration details but at least chances are less that I will be forgetting anything.
