Oh, it was fairly casual at our house after returning from my parents' house. It was "us" though, I would have hated it if he did it at the family Christmas celebration.

We got engaged on Valentine’s Day and we knew we wanted our wedding would be in FL, so to have the perfect temp and avoid rainstorms we decided February, looking at the calendar 2/20/20 really stood out☺️ Also weekday weddings are typically cheaper!

Hi!! I’m 2/20/20 in FL! We also wanted cooler weather (I’m a sweaty person and that doesn’t mix well with Florida 😂) and 2/20/20 was cheaper since it’s a thursday! Plus how cool is the date in general?

Hi. Great to know I'm not the only one getting married on a Thursday. We originally chose 2/2/2020 but had to change it due to the Superbowl being in Miami and the hotels and flights were too much for some guests. We are in Fort Lauderdale and is where the wedding will be. However, on the other hand many members of my family said they couldn't come because they couldn't take time off from work. 🤔Anyone had a similar response to a Thursday wedding?

View Quoted Comment I’m a teacher in NY and we have off that week for President’s Week which is why I chose 2.20, not to mention the cool date and amazing weather in Puerto Rico but a lot of people are scared bc of the earthquakes, which are luckily not affecting our venue. A few people backed out.
