Couples getting married on December 11, 2020

We have an inside option provided by our venue. But I am set on a outdoor wedding so I am planning to purchase a pop up catering tent closer to the day of on facebook marketplace. You can also rent one too.

Daughter was married in So Cal in January and ONLY considered venues that had an excellent Plan B for weather. For the first five days of her wedding week, we had unprecedented crazy rain levels (like major flooding).... The good news is she never had to stress about that; it wasn't her first choice, but she knew she had a great warm, dry option for her guests. We totally lucked out and the rain suddenly stopped in the middle of the rehearsal, and at ceremony time 48-hours later it was 78, sunny and gorgeous at the venue, and everything went off as planned outside. But that Plan B meant it really didn't matter either way!

Yup! And in CA, it doesn’t rain often but we had a back-up plan at our wedding... and the day before our wedding had to change our ceremony spot (worked out even better!). It didn’t rain hard during first look pics and they turned out spectacular. 🌧 ❤️


I agree with MOB So Cal... find a venue that has great back-ups. Wind or extreme heat can also be issues where the ceremony or reception spots need to be changed for the comfort or safety of guests (#1 priority. Guests will leave if cold, hot or wet and will sadly be the only thing they remember about a wedding).
